FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME ON VINYL:

THE WONDERFUL COLLECTION OF COUNTRY-FLAVOURED DUETS BY STATUS QUO FOUNDER FRANCIS ROSSI AND VOCALIST HANNAH RICKARD

IN STORES MAY 3rd, 2024

Francis Rossi, founder of the mighty Quo, has confirmed a very special vinyl edition of his collaborative album ‘We Talk Too Much’. Recorded with vocalist Hannah Rickard, this format will be released on May 3rd, 2024, on earMUSIC. ‘We Talk Too Much’ will be made available on 180g Black Vinyl, packed in a premium-quality gatefold jacket - the very first LP format release for this album. This LP edition will also include the previously unreleased Bonus Track ‘Broken Memory’.

This album, originally released in 2019, added another chapter to Francis’ incredibly successful career; ‘We Talk Too Much’ was his highest charting solo release so far and in fact in the UK landed at No.1 in the Country Album Charts, and also No.1 in the Independent Album Breakers Chart.

The pair met when Hannah Rickard worked with Status Quo on the hugely successful ‘Aquostic’ projects. Reconnecting with one of Rossi’s true loves, this is a collection of Country-flavoured duets, all of them exclusive to this release. “We Talk Too Much” boasts writing credits for Rossi and Rickard, as well as Quo stalwart Bob Young, this album has been a true labour of love.

Francis said of the impending release, “It is great that ‘We Talk Too Much’ is getting a vinyl release. It looks fantastic. This album is close to my heart, it’s a different kind of sound to what I do with Quo, but I love this music. ‘Broken Memory’ also deserves to see the light of day, so I am glad we’ve been able to include that as an extra”.

An important record within Francis Rossi’s catalogue, ‘We Talk Too Much’ shows not only his versatility but also something of the man himself. By teaming up with Hannah Rickard, a truly special album was created, one that is suitably celebrated on this vinyl edition

‘Until I Figure It Out’ - the debut album from Furs out now on all platforms.

Francis' son Furs’ debut album 'Until I Figure It Out' is out now on all streaming platforms.

After receiving support from BBC introducing on various singles and his first Radio 1 play with ‘It Feels Right’, Furs decided it was finally the right time to bring out a full length project.

A long time in the making, having dabbled with different genres/styles from a young age, Furs is really beginning to hone in on his sound creating an ever developing musical identity.

All tracks written, produced and mixed by Furs. Furs would like to thank Andy Brook for mastering and Roger Reid (his partner from side project ‘Searching for Sergio’) for his contributions on the keys.”
